Creator Paul Boyd's brilliant adaptation of the timeless story returns to the Art Centre Theatre. The original score, which ranges from rock and Broadway-style ballads to gypsy rhythms soars with the story of a troupe of traveling gypsies gathered around a campfire in a dark forest. As they hear wolves howling in the woods, they begin to tell the tale of one of their ancestors, a mysterious girl in a crimson-colored cape. Considered one of Boyd's best early works (having premiered in Ireland in 2000), this favorite tale gets stellar treatment.
