Celebrate Texas culture and heritage at Lewisville’s Western Days festival September 29-30. The two-day event includes three stages for live music and performances, featuring Turnpike Troubadours and Randy Rogers Band, plus all types of fun and activities for the whole family.
Highlights include the World Tamale Eating Championship presented by Market Street, Kid Kountry Playground presented by Castle Hills, a mechanical bull, a working blacksmith, Huffines Auto Dealerships Lewisville Cattle Drive Parade, Castle Hills Culinary Corner, an art exhibit at the Medical Center of Lewisville Grand Theater, and much more. Gates open at 5 p.m. Friday, September 29 and 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 30. Admission is free between the hours of 5-7 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday with a ticket. Download tickets online at LewisvilleWesternDays.com. After 7 p.m. both nights, free tickets will no longer be redeemable, and admission is $10 for everyone except children 10 and under. Children 10 and under are always free.
