Did you know that over 30 million adults in the U.S. do not read well enough to fill out a job application? The Buns & Roses Romance Tea for Literacy benefits adult literacy programs in the Richardson community. It will be held on Sunday, October 21 from 2-5 pm at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Richardson. Meet many of your favorite romance authors including New York Times bestselling author Linda Howard while supporting a great cause Tickets are $45 and must be purchased in advance at www.bunsandroses.org. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet bestselling romance authors at the event and attend a private book signing and silent auction in addition to the cream tea. Author hostesses include those local to the Dallas area, as well as those from around Texas and the US. Each year, this event and the silent auction (including weeks at vacation homes, jewelry, and, of course, books) raises a significant amount of money for the Richardson Adult Literacy Center.
