Treaty Day at Fort Martin Scott

Nov 10, 2018

At this living-history event, soldiers and Native Americans share the story of the unique 1850 Fort Martin Scott Treaty forged between the US government and Native Americans on the Texas frontier. In the afternoon, a Commemorative Call for Troops invites visitors to 'join up' for fun drills as an 1850 soldier. In the evening, 5:30-7:30 p.m., a campfire party offers prizes, food and live music under the stars, benefitting educational programming at the fort.
