APRIL 12th! The San Antonio Swing Dance Society, Austin Swing Syndicate, KRTU Jazz, and Krause's Cafe partner together for the 3nd Annual Battle of The Swing Bands between The Dirty River Dixie Band of San Antonio, TX and Joe Smith & The Spicy Pickles of Denver, CO! This is a night full of Jazz, Dancing, and Fun that you do not want to miss, featuring 2 stages with 2 swingin' bands battling head to head and a big dance floor in-between! The beautiful Seekatz Opera House plays host once again as the historic early 1900's venue takes you back to the days of the Savoy Ballroom and the legendary battles that took place on those hardwood floors. Krause's Cafe will be providing a cash bar complete with 4 choices of beer, wine, and mix drinks! Memorabilia and CD's will be sold by SA Swing Dance Society!
