Bring your children to learn and play at the Zoo! Texas Southmost College (TSC) students enrolled in the Teacher Education program will host a “Children’s Play Day” at the Gladys Porter Zoo in honor of the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s (NAEYC) Week of the Young Child™, which advocates for the importance of early- learning opportunities for all young children. Teacher Education students, under the direction of Dr. Cortez-Castro, will set up about 40 different play stations around the Zoo. This event is free with the purchase of general admission or Zoo membership.
