This is a cleanup of Boca Chica Beach at the mouth of the Rio Grande River. This area has a lot of trash. We have coordinated this event with County Commissioner Sophia Benavides’ office in order to have county support and trash pickup. Please come out and volunteer to make a difference. This cleanup has been registered as a World Oceans Day 2019 event, and it has also been registered with American Rivers and Keep Texas Waterways Beautiful. All cleanup supplies along with sunscreen and insect repellent will be provided.
