Fun Surf Fishing Tournament Filled With Prizes, Raffles, & Giveaways! $4,500 Total Cash Payout!! The goal of this event is to create a fishing tournament that will bring the entire family to fish, barbecue, bond, and enjoy Boca Chica Beach and all its beauty. Our Leyendas Surf Fishing Tournament will provide a scholarship towards the Marine Biology Department of The University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). The tournament will also direct some of the proceeds to the RGV Fishing Area and Waterway Cleanup to help clean and maintain our local fishing areas for years to come!
