Mar 28, 2020 - Apr 30, 2020

April is designated wildflower month in Cuero and is located in DeWitt County the which is named the "Wildflower Capital of Texas"! DeWitt County has an amazing variety of wildflowers transforming our "Lanes & Byways" into a show of spring finery. There are over 800 miles of county and farm to market roads, each unique. Wildflower maps are available at the Cuero Chamber of Commerce & Visitor's Bureau. Visitors come from far and wide to see the variety of wildflowers. Come take a self guided tour and enjoy the rural community, historical sites and quaint shops with South Texas hospitality. Kick off is March 28th! Start the morning off with a the annual Wildflower Bike Ride hosted by the Cuero ISD Anchor Club. Bike through the designated wildflower trails, then stop by the Cuero Downtown Farmers Market and find fresh produce, artisan and home items, food trucks, live music and more! Visit the Cuero Library to make a special wildflower craft. Don't foreget to stop by the Chamber of Commerce & Visitor's Bureau to pick up a self-guided driving map to see the wildflowers all around DeWitt County.
