The World Heritage Festival is an annual collaborative event, presented by the City of San Antonio World Heritage Office, to celebrate and promote the historic San Antonio Missions, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This year, the festival celebrates both the fifth anniversary of the Missions designated as a World Heritage Site - the only one in Texas - and the tricentennial of Mission San Jose. Events scheduled include a virtual bike/run/walk tour of the Missions, a celebration of San Antonio's military history, a culinary showcase, and more. Most events are free to attend, but some require a cost for participation. Check the website for updates and more information.
