The East Texas Yamboree is one of the oldest continuous festivals in Texas. It is a four-day tribute to yams, that draws a crowd of over 100,000 visitors. The Yamboree includes a 5k/1 mile Tater Trot Run, 2 parades, the Yamboree Queen's coronations, a Barn dance, live music and entertanment daily, a Fiddler's contest, a Gospel stage show, contests and exhibits, Livestock shows and sales, Agricultural contests, a carnival and more.
