Feb 14, 2024

The Falls on the Colorado Museum is partnering with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) of Texas Tech University to present a class on "Adam R. Johnson and the Founding of Marble Falls." Instructor Ron Nicholas, who is on the board of directors for The Falls on the Colorado Museum, will share his passion for Central Texas history in leading this class that takes students from Johnson to “that other Johnson,” the late U.S. President who grew up just 15 miles south. The class will take place at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 in the Madolyn Frasier Room at the museum, 2001 Broadway in Marble Falls. Priority seating will be reserved for registered OLLI attendees, but visitors from the general public are welcome. Attendees will also be able to tour the museum and its exhibits and enjoy Valentine's sweets. The museum is located at 2001 Broadway in the Old Granite School building.
