Each year on Memorial Day, over 1,000 motorcycle riders gather to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Known as the Ride to Remember, this powerful tribute spans the wide-open roads of the Permian Basin, drawing veterans, families, and patriots together in a moving display of unity and remembrance. With flags flying and engines rumbling, the procession winds its way toward a meaningful destination—the Andrews Chamber of Commerce Veterans Memorial. Here, amidst a solemn backdrop dedicated to our fallen heroes, riders and community members join together to reflect, honor, and give thanks. At the memorial’s conclusion, the Andrews County Veterans Board will host a lunch for all participants, providing a time for fellowship and shared stories. More than just a ride, Ride to Remember is a heartfelt expression of gratitude—a tribute written on the road and etched into the hearts of those who never forget.
