BK Bones: Jurassic Park vs. Real Science
Nov 09, 2025
Buckle up for a ride through the Mesozoic with vertebrate paleontologist Bethany Burke as she sorts fantasy from facts.
Event Details
In 1993, the movie Jurassic Park burst on the scene as a cultural phenomenon. While the animation and special effects on screen are riveting, what you see is not always scientifically accurate. Through Bethany Burke’s engaging presentation, you might be surprised to learn that the facts are even more interesting than the fiction! You’ll also get a peek into what paleontologists actually do and get hands on with real and replica dinosaur bones.
This program is geared towards adults and is not recommended for children under 13. Tickets are $12 for general admission and $8 for Museum members.
