Music Under the Star (MUtS) returns to the Bullock Museum this summer with four nights of electrifying performances in the Capitol Mall Amphitheater. Experience this free outdoor summer concert series from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Friday in June.
Bring the whole family, camp chairs, and blankets to enjoy an incredible lineup of Texas artists. Food and drinks are available for purchase at all MUtS concerts.
Event parking is available in the Bullock Museum’s underground garage for $15. Parking is free for Members with a valid membership card.
7 p.m. | Rochelle & the Sidewinders
Rochelle & The Sidewinders are an award-winning, high-energy blues rock band based out of Austin, Texas. The Sidewinders have performed as the headlining and support act at dozens of major music festivals throughout Texas, as well as many of the high-profile music venues around the state. Formed during the summer of 2015, The Sidewinders have released five full-length CDs to great critical acclaim.
8 p.m. | Tameca Jones
Tameca Jones is an Austin-based singer and songwriter, whose expressive vocals earned her the title “Empress of Austin Soul” by her fans. She has shared stages with The Black Pumas, Gary Clark Jr, Leon Bridges, St Paul and the Broken Bones and other notable artists. In November 2023, Jones released the Adele-influenced “So Gone,” the first single from her highly anticipated debut Plants & Pills, which was released in February 2024.
