The Dallas Arboretum features 19 unique gardens, each with its own theme. Stroll along the peaceful waterway and lily pond in Magnolia Glade. Wander through Crape Myrtle Allee, a favorite location for photographers. Stop and smell the roses in the Rose Mary Haggar Rose Garden, which features more than 200 hybrid tea roses representing 16 different varieties.

Let your imagination take over in the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden, where interactive exhibits connect children with nature. Escape into the Palmer Fern Dell, a tranquil retreat along a babbling brook. With so many beautiful gardens to explore, the Dallas Arboretum truly offers something for everyone.

Events at the Dallas Arboretum

In addition to the year-round attractions, the Dallas Arboretum hosts several special events throughout the year. One of its most popular is Dallas Blooms, the largest floral festival in the Southwest. Named one of America's Best Spring Floral Festivals by Fodor's Travel in 2015, Dallas Blooms showcases one of the world's most spectacular floral displays each spring.

More than half a million blooming tulips, daffodils, pansies, violas, poppies, and thousands of other annuals and perennials are featured during the festival, along with flowering cherry blossom trees. The Dallas Arboretum also hosts the Cool Thursdays Concert Series throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Bring a picnic and enjoy live music on the scenic lawns overlooking White Rock Lake. Autumn at the Arboretum, the Tom Thumb Pumpkin Patch, and Artscape are just a few more of the premier events hosted at the Dallas Arboretum.
