National Scouting Museum Hours and Admission Prices

The National Scouting Museum is the official museum of the Boy Scouts of America. This fun Irving attraction is the place to visit to listen to campfire stories, browse an extensive collection that includes the medal awarded to the first Eagle Scout in 1912, and check out one of the largest collections of original Norman Rockwell paintings. Tuesday – Wednesday: Closed
Thursday – Saturday: 10 AM – 5 PM
Sunday: 1 PM – 5 PM


The Scout Shop Hours

Monday: 10 AM – 7 PM
Tuesday – Wednesday: Closed
Thursday – Friday: 10 AM – 6 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – 6 PM
Sunday: 1 PM – 5 PM

The National Scouting Museum and Scout Shop? are closed on national holidays.


National Scouting Museum Admission Prices

Admission to the National Scouting Museum is free. However, donations are accepted. You can arrange for guided group tours and field trips by contacting the museum online in advance.

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the National Scouting Museum in Irving before it moves to its new location in New Mexico. The museum will remain open for tours through this Labor Day (Monday, September 4, 2017).
