Forecasting a Great Time
The weather is always changing! Come find out what’s new at The Weather Museum this year.
Spring Break Fun
The Weather Museum is your destination for Spring Break fun! Visit the museum in March and observe Flood Awareness Week. Turn Around, Don’t Drown! Learn about Houston’s history of flooding in the City on the Bayou exhibit, check out the new Flood Table to see what happens during a heavy rain event and enjoy watching some cool weather videos on lightning, hurricanes and tornadoes.
Earth Month Celebration
Each year, The Weather Museum declares the entire month of April as EARTH MONTH! It’s a time of year that has special meaning to The Weather Museum, beyond the green message – it’s the Museum’s birthday! In celebration of Earth Month and turning six years old this year, the Museum will discount admission on Saturday, April 21 from 10 am – 4 pm. The Earth Day Birthday activities include Earth Day word finds, coloring sheets, arts & crafts using recycled materials, face painting, recycle relays and seed plantings. Guests will also enjoy popcorn, birthday cake and refreshments.
