Delores Fenwick Nature Center in Pearland
The Delores Fenwick Nature Center (DFNC) is Pearland’s newest environmental education amenity offering residents and visitors alike a place to learn and explore preservation, outdoor recreation and healthy living.
Located at the John Hargrove Environmental Complex, the nature center overlooks 1.7 miles of natural trails. Once inside, the facility includes interactive exhibits, a 720-gallon aquarium, a wetland diorama, live animals and several educational components.
A colorful, three-wall mural completed by Galveston-based artist Gabriel Prusmack features images of native wildlife found around the center such as roseate spoonbills and green tree frogs.
Admission to the Delores Fenwick Nature Center and the surrounding trails is FREE. Programs and workshops are subject to additional fees.
