Big Spring Symphony

A cultural cornerstone of Big Spring for more than four decades, the Big Spring Symphony presents a season of concerts featuring classical favorites, guest artists, and family-friendly performances. Known as the only rolling hills golf course in West Texas, this 18-hole municipal course measures 6,576 yards and plays to a par of 72. The rolling terrain creates fun elevation changes and can add extra distance to your drives, provided you keep your ball on the tight fairways. One of the signature holes is the 537-yard No. 7, a challenging par 5 with sweeping views of the back nine.

In addition to an amphitheater, municipal golf course, trails, tennis courts, and playgrounds, the historic spring that gave Big Spring its name is located within Comanche Trail Park. Hall Center for the Arts

Howard College's Hall Center for the Arts serves as a cultural hub for the Big Spring community, hosting theater and dance productions, films, lectures, art exhibits, town hall meetings, concerts, and other community events. Explore 13,000 square feet of exhibits showcasing the history and culture of West Texas. Highlights include a collection of more than 50 early phonographs, an extensive doll exhibit, one of the world's largest sets of longhorn horns, and displays on local history, railroads, pioneer medicine, and the oil industry. Five blocks north of the museum, the historic Potton House is a favorite attraction listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
