Brown County Rodeo
If you’re looking to immerse yourself in all things Texan, look no further than the Brown County Rodeo. Riverfest
You name it and you’ll probably find it at Brownwood’s annual Riverfest. Take part in a raft race on the Pecan Bayou; sample the brisket, chicken, ribs, and beans in the barbecue cook-off; check out the car show; and shop the wares offered by the arts and crafts vendors. Christmas Under the Stars Festival
Ring in the holiday season with funnel cakes, hot chocolate, and a variety of festive activities for folks of all ages at the Christmas Under the Stars Festival. The event includes a visit from Jolly Old Saint Nick himself, crafts projects for the youngsters, big wheel races, live music, and a Christmas play. It all kicks off in early December with a parade in downtown Brownwood, followed up by two nights of revelry at the Depot Complex and Lehnis Railroad Museum.
