Art Park Players
A Deer Park establishment since 1979, the Art Park Players present four full-scale dinner theater productions a year, not to mention seasonal performances! The Youth Theater School offers classes in dance, modeling, voice acting, and more, and also produces its own plays and musicals.

Battleship TEXAS
Established in 1948, Battleship TEXAS is now the nation’s first battleship memorial museum. On your own or with a guide, you can explore the sleeping quarters, engine room, and other parts of this important piece of U.S. naval history. Special events like youth group sleepovers and rescue training are also available.

Bayou Bend Park
The standout feature of this eight-acre park is the nine-hole disc golf course that’s great for beginners. Other facilities include a basketball court, playground equipment and swings, picnic tables, and a short walking trail.

Dow Park
The largest park in town, Dow Park has an Olympic-size pool with water slides, kids’ pool, and splash pad. A rose garden, lighted tennis and racquetball courts, a skate park, sand volleyball court, playground, picnic areas, and jogging trail can be found in the park as well.

Patrick's Cabin
The small cabin where Dr. George Moffit Patrick lived with his family went down in history as the spot where the initial treaty papers that granted Texas its independence were drafted in 1836. Today this replica home stands in Heritage Park as a symbol of Deer Park’s status as the true “Birthplace of Texas."

San Jacinto Monument
The world’s tallest memorial column and a fascinating museum pay tribute to the battle that birthed a republic that took place right here nearly two centuries ago. The Battleground Golf Course
Each hole is named for people and events associated with the Battle of San Jacinto, from Santa Anna on #1 to The Monument on #18, with corresponding granite markers at every tee box.
