North Texas Rodeo & Fair

August 21 - 29, 2020

Get ready to cowboy up, right here in Denton. Every August, the North Texas Fair & Rodeo embraces western heritage and culture with its nine-day event, featuring a nightly rodeo, multiple nightly concerts, horse & livestock shows, fair food, a carnival, fun contests, games and more! The North Texas State Fair Association is a volunteer supported, 501 (c) (3) non-profit community organization that preserves and promotes western heritage and values.

Event Schedule
Don your boots and bring the whole family for a dose of fun, as there’s something for everybody at the fair. Each night features a rodeo, from PRCA professional action to the ever-popular ranch rodeo, during which real cowboys show the skills that they utilize every day on their own working ranches. With two stages, music floats throughout the fairgrounds, featuring top country artists, as well as the soon-to-be-famous Texas artists that you are bound to fall in love with. Make sure the kiddos explore the Kids Zone, with a petting zoo, hamster balls, a rock wall and inflatables to keep them entertained, or sign them up in advance for Mutton Bustin’, where they can be part of the rodeo too. And drop by the Livestock Pavilion, where the youth of Denton County can be seen showing their prized animals.
