Miguel Valverde, Desierto Peregrino, 12/5/2025 – 2/28/2026

A glimpse into northern Mexico through the eyes of artist Miguel Valverde, exploring color, identity, and the spirit of the desert. Miguel Valverde is a Mexican artist from Chihuahua, Mexico with over twenty years of experience. His works span paintings, muralism, and sculpture.

Kathleen Frank and Mark Yale Harris, The New American West by Brush and by Bronze, 3/6 – 5/30/2026

A fusion of vibrant new oil paintings by Kathleen Frank, celebrating Texas’ breathtaking landscapes and Mark Yale Harris’ acclaimed bronze sculptures that illuminate our connection to one another and the natural world.

Escaramuza, The Poetics of Home showcases 42 new photographs by award-winning artist Constance Jaeggi, paired with original poems by Ire’ne Lara Silva and Angelina Sáenz that reflect on identity, family, and gender in the escaramuza community.

Spark! Places of Innovation is a Smithsonian Museum on Main Street traveling exhibit that showcases how innovation arises in small rural communities. Exhibition will be held in the Education Room.

40th Annual Trappings of Texas, 9/24 – 10/31/2026

Contemporary western art and cowboy gear. This exhibition begins with a three-day event celebrating Western art and culture including the exhibit and sale of contemporary Western art and custom cowboy gear, an opening reception, artist presentations, and a ranch roundup party.
