The Dam Good Tour is a 90-minute immersive bus tour through one of Austin's most dramatic yet least-known chapters. Aboard a climate-controlled bus equipped with surround-sound narration, riders experience the rise and fall of the Great Granite Dam: a massive 1893 structure that was supposed to turn Austin into an industrial powerhouse but instead collapsed under the Colorado River on April 7, 1900, resulting in catastrophic consequences.
