Blanton Museum of Art Hours and Admission Prices

Austin’s art museum is steps from the Texas State Capitol, on the southern border of The University of Texas. With more than 21,000 artworks that span continents, centuries, and cultures -- including Austin, the iconic building designed by the renowned Ellsworth Kelly - the museum is must-see for visitors to the city. New temporary exhibitions created by the Blanton and on loan from renowned institutions are on view throughout the year.

Tuesday – Friday: 10 am – 5 pm
Saturday: 10 am – 8 pm
Sunday: 10 am – 5 pm
Monday: Closed

Ellsworth Kelly’s Austin is open during museum hours. Visitors can experience Landscape Soundings, the new work of sound art by Bill Fontana in the Butler Sound Gallery, during museum hours.

Active Military: Free from Armed Forces Day to Labor Day.

Admission is always free on Tuesdays, generously provided by the Moody Family Free Day Endowment.
