Central Texas Airshow
Enjoy high-flying thrills at the Central Texas Airshow, a full weekend of shows put on by expert pilots flying vintage aircraft. Festivities begin on the first Friday of May with an exciting display of fireworks and pyrotechnics. Saturday and Sunday have their own set of aerobatic displays, and some of the aircraft is set out so you can get a closer look at these amazing machines.

Bloomin’ Temple Festival
Head to the Santa Fe Depot Grounds for the Bloomin’ Temple Festival, an annual event built around fantastic concerts by top-class country and Tejano bands. This two-day event, held in mid-May, also includes carnival games and rides, delicious food, a kids’ zone, and fireworks.

Battle of Temple Junction
The Battle of Temple Junction is a Civil War reenactment and living history event meant to provide a glimpse at what life was like for soldiers during the war. See what a typical Civil War battle may have looked like, and how the Confederate and Union soldiers trained, at this three-day event.

July 4th Family Fun Fest
Celebrate Independence Day in Miller Park for Temple’s annual July 4th festival. This event includes an entire day of live entertainment, arts and crafts, and food. It’s all capped off by a spectacular fireworks display, the perfect way to end a patriotic day.

Texas Early Day Tractor & Engine Association
Experience a bygone era in a recreation of a turn-of-the-century city at the Texas Early Day Tractor & Engine Association’s state show. This long-running annual event features massive displays of rare tractors and historic structures, delicious homemade cornbread and ice cream, and a flea market. An antique tractor parade and pull, and activities such as corn grinding and wire fence weaving, are also part of the festivities.
