Brady Municipal Golf Course

The City of Brady maintains this scenic nine-hole golf course just northwest of downtown. The course features a pro shop, driving range, golf cart rentals, and a concessions area with snacks and beverages. Green fees are affordable, with discounted weekday and twilight rates available. The course is open daily, with Mondays reserved for members only.

Located next to Richards Park, Brady’s aquatic complex features a swimming pool with interactive play features, basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, washer and horseshoe courts, covered pavilions, a walking trail, and a hummingbird and butterfly garden. Recreational swimming is available during the summer months, generally from late May through the end of August.

Heart of Texas Country Music Museum

More than 100 legendary country music artists are represented at the Heart of Texas Country Music Museum through stage costumes, musical instruments, photographs, autographs, posters, and other memorabilia. Highlights include artifacts from Patsy Cline, Roy Acuff, Ernest Tubb, Jim Reeves, Minnie Pearl, Johnny Cash, and many more. The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Group tours and weekday appointments are also available.

Located near Brady Lake, the Kenneth Medlock Gun Range is home to the Texas Muzzle Loading Rifle Association. The range features silhouette targets, shotgun shooting areas, and facilities for rifle, pistol, and muzzleloading enthusiasts. The TMLRA also hosts competitions and events for shooters of all ages throughout the year.
