From the world-famous First Monday Trade Days to a vibrant Christmas parade, there are many events in Canton to enjoy. Although Canton’s massive outdoor market is its most notable event, the town’s other festivals are not to be overlooked. Take in all the festivities and celebrate the birth of our nation in style at Canton’s Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks Show.

January – December

First Monday Trade Days
Head to Canton the weekend before the first Monday of every month for the greatest market of them all. What started as a flea market more than 150 years ago has evolved into a sprawling outdoor marketplace where you’ll find antiques, home decorations, flowers, art, and just about anything else you can imagine. Browse the stalls and chat with the vendors, munch on a funnel cake or some homemade ice cream, and soak it all on. At the end of the day, you’ll leave with a few treasures that you wouldn’t have found anywhere else.

July

July 4th Parade & Fireworks Show
Don your very best red, white, and blue outfit and celebrate the birth of our nation like a true patriot at Canton’s July 4th parade and fireworks show. Starting in the early afternoon at the Canton Junior High School, the parade ends in the downtown square. All the festivities are capped by a spectacular fireworks show.

October

Autumn Festival
The annual Autumn Festival in Downtown Canton is a day full of fun activities, shopping, and live entertainment. 

December

Lighted Christmas Parade and Snow Day Festival
Santa and his elves bring all the cheer of the holidays to town for Canton’s annual Christmas parade. The Snow Day Festival contains a HUGE snow slide, games, photo ops, and food trucks. All the holiday magic starts at Canton Junior High School and ends in the downtown square.
