Junction Disc Golf Sizzler

Pack your discs, gather your crew, and head to Junction to compete in one of the top disc golf tournaments in Texas. Held the last weekend in July, the Sizzler is a disc golf tournament in Junction that brings some of the best competitors around to this picturesque corner of the Texas Hill Country. Join the approximately 200 teams that travel to Junction for this pro-am event that allows you to compete alongside the pros.

Located on the western bank of the South Llano River and surrounded by rolling hills shaded by oak and pecan trees, Junction offers a picturesque backdrop for a round of disc golf.

The tournament is held on the town’s 15-, 18-, and 24-hole courses, giving you a chance to experience each as you enjoy some quality time outdoors. No matter if you’re new to disc golf or a seasoned player, you can join in on all the fun due to the wide range of player divisions, ranging from men’s and women’s open to advanced, intermediate, and recreational. There’s even a doubles division, which is held on Junction’s City Course.

It’s not a competition without some prizes at stake, and the Sizzler is no exception. For your shot at winning cash, enter the open divisions. Amateurs may also walk away with goodies of their own, including merchandise. Make sure to stick around until the end of each day for your chance to throw a disc off Junction’s famous Lovers Leap, a limestone bluff perched high above the South Llano River that has one of the best views in the area.
