Corks and Forks: This downtown tasting event is a night to remember. Lufkin’s finest chefs and caterers showcase their tastiest appetizers and desserts paired with great wines and Champagnes. This annual event is held the Saturday before Valentine's Day.
CBR Bull Bash: Annual CBR event that features wild rodeo action and a country music concert.
Angelina Benefit Rodeo: This is an official stop on the PRCA circuit and attracts more than 20,000 people each year while supporting a great cause!
Jam and Toast: A spring tasting event featuring fabulous brunch foods prepared by local chefs paired with champagne and cocktails. Jam and Toast is held in the heart of historic downtown Lufkin and features live music.
Downtown Hoedown: Arts and craft vendors line the streets with a variety of food vendors, children’s activities, and all-day entertainment on two stages makes our Hoedown a fun event for the entire family.
Zoo Brew: Stout or light, dark or pale? Take your pick or try them all at the Zoo Brew. For adults in the community, Zoo Brew is a beer tasting fund-raiser for Lufkin's beautiful Ellen Trout Zoo. Come out and enjoy a large selection of beers and tasty foods from local restaurants.
Lufkin’s Summer Farm Feast: Farm Feast is a sit-down, farm-to-table, four-course meal with wine pairings that takes place outdoors at the Angelina County Farmers Market. Local chefs use fresh, seasonal, flavorful ingredients from farms within a 100-mile radius of Lufkin to prepare the feast.
Neches River Rendezvous: Experience the natural beauty of the Neches River on this unique 10-mile canoe trip! Enjoy the scenic surroundings and observe the numerous birds, squirrels, wild hogs and alligators that call the river bottom home. Registered participants enjoy a lunch and receive an official Neches River Rendezvous t-shirt.
Texas State Forest Festival: Held the fourth week in September, this festival features several events including the Southern Hushpuppy Championships, a petting zoo, giant carnival, shows and performances, local entertainment, and more!
Pineywoods Purgatory: This fall premier cycling event offers four rides ranging from 25 to 102 miles that take you through Texas Forest Country's best. Don't let the first few miles fool you - the terrain is not without challenge. It's not just a ride; it's a weekend experience you'll want to make an annual event. Mark your calendars for the 1st Saturday in October!
Lufkin’s Bistro: Come join in the fun the fun at the Annual Lufkin’s Bistro! This tasting event promises to be fun and filling! Come enjoy food from our local restaurants and chefs, along with a wide variety of wines and beers, as well as live music that will keep you entertained all night long! Lufkin’s Bistro will always take place the same weekend as the famous Pineywoods Purgatory Bike Race – ask us about a Stay-and-Play package that will get you special rates! Angelina County AirFest: A fabulous air show that takes place at the Angelina County airport presented by the Marine Corp League and benefitting Toys for Tots. Come out and enjoy the day in amazement as these experienced pilots twist and dance right over your head as they fly through the sky!

Pineywoods Veterans Celebration: Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be a part of this fabulous event honoring our Veterans! The City of Lufkin hosts a parade and festivities in the park to follow.
