Ronald McDonald House Annual Celebrity Golf Classic
Dallas Cowboy legends Bob Lilly and Randy White host this yearly charity golf scramble in which each group is joined on the links by a former sports star. Festivities are kicked off by a dinner and silent auction the evening prior to the tournament.

Central Texas State Fair
On Labor Day weekend, head to the Bell County Expo Center for the carnival, livestock show, mutton bustin’, and Professional Bull Riders competitions that are part of the annual Central Texas State Fair.

Belton Bacon Blues and Brews
Featuring bacon, blues music, and brews. Friday, September 23rd is the kick-off party with food trucks, breweries, wineries, and music. Come enjoy the 1st Cavalry Rock Band and The Damn Torpedoes, a Tom Petty tribute band.
Saturday, September 24th, the food truck competition starts at 11 am, where food trucks compete with bacon-inspired dishes. There will be a variety of blues bands playing throughout the day including the 1st Cavalry New Orleans Brass Band, The Blue Louie Band and Texas Flood, (a Stevie Ray Vaughn tribute band).

BLORA (Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area) becomes nearly six miles of winter wonderland each holiday season, with millions of Christmas lights illuminating hundreds of festive scenes and displays.

Christmas on the Chisholm Trail
Before the big day arrives, Santa drops by downtown Belton to kick off the Christmas season with great food, a kids’ zone, specialty crafts vendors, yuletide entertainment, and a parade.
A two-day event on the 2nd and 3rd of December from 12 pm – 7 pm.
December 2nd is the tree lighting, Christmas movie, and food vendors.
Saturday, December 3rd is the Christmas parade and has vendors of all kinds.
