Crude Fest Texas Music Festival
Crude Fest has quickly grown into the premier red dirt music festival in West Texas, bringing the likes of The Josh Abbott Band, Kevin Fowler, Aaron Watson, and The Turnpike Troubadours to the festival grounds just outside of Midland each year. All the great music is paired with a cook-off for Texas favorites like brisket, ribs, and margaritas, and attendees can camp on the Crude Fest grounds for the weekend.

Mex-Tex Family Fiesta

Summer Mummers
Presented by the Midland Community Theatre, Summer Mummers is the oldest continuous melodrama in the United States. Throw popcorn at the villains (and each other), cheer for the heroes, and drink lots of beer at this West Texas tradition in the historic Yucca Theatre in downtown Midland.

Star Spangled Salute

Commemorative Air Force AIRSHO
Watch vintage military aircraft maneuver the skies at the annual Commemorative Air Force AIRSHO, hosted each August by the CAF High Sky Wing at the Midland International Air & Space Port. Spectators can also buy rides in vintage planes such as a B-17 or a P-51 Gunfighter.
