Kleberg Kenedy County Jr. Livestock Show
Since 1951, KKJLS has provided weeks of entertainment while also educating the area’s youth. The Kleberg Kenedy County Jr. Livestock show typically kicks off with a carnival at the JK Northway Expo Center and continues with exhibits, showmanship, homemaking products, and of course plenty of livestock including beef, swine, goats, lambs, and cattle. The show wraps up with an auction open to the public and typically includes a country concert for all to enjoy!

Kingsville Symphony Orchestra Spring Welcome
Put on your finest attire and head to the Kingsville Symphony Orchestra Spring Welcome annual event in February. Be ready to experience the celestial sounds of specially selected guest musicians to accompany this full orchestra. Comprised of students attending the School of Music at Texas A&M University-Kingsville alongside professional musicians from a variety of areas in South Texas, music-goers are in for a treat! Texas A&M University-Kingsville Jazz Fest
A finger-snapping and toe-tapping good time, TAMUK Jazz Festival is a fun two-day festival held annually on the last Friday and Saturday of March. Music lovers of all ages are invited to come out to enjoy jazz performances by a variety of jazz guest artists along with TAMUK Jazz Ensembles, and young talents from high school / middle school ensembles. All performances are free to the public, with the exception of the final concert on Saturday night.

Wings Over South Texas Air Show 
Every even number year, Kingsville hosts the Blue Angels along with dozens of performers for this spectacular Texas air show. Arrive early for a personal meet and greet with the pilots during the Meet the Blues event. This portion of the show allows visitors to experience a Taste of Kingsville with free food samples. Fun-filled and family-friendly, bring the kids for a chance to earn their wings during flight school at the event.

Festival de la Lotería
A multi-cultural celebration, visitors will enjoy fun, fashion, and three rounds of hour-long Loteria games at Festival de la Loteria. The TAMUK Annual Jazz Blast is a breath of fresh spring air! This outdoor jazz concert is held annually on the last Saturday of April. All TAMUK Jazz Ensembles will perform at this free event. Independence Day Celebration

Head to Downtown Kingsville for a lively, all-in-one Independence Day celebration filled with music, community spirit, and family-friendly fun. Enjoy a free Independence Day concert featuring energetic performances by popular Tejano artists like Elida Reyna Y Avante, Las Fenix, Lucky Joe, La Calma, and more. Bring your lawn chairs, browse local vendors, and soak in the festive atmosphere.

Celebrate with a 3-in-1 festival honoring Freedom Fest, the City of Kingsville’s birthday, and NAS-Kingsville’s birthday. Downtown businesses join in with a spirited window-decorating contest, turning the Main Street District red, white, and blue. Take part in the free Pet, Bike, and People Parade, complete with a costume contest and prizes across multiple categories.

After the parade, continue the festivities at Maggie Salinas Pavilion, where you can enjoy free hot dogs, delicious cake, and an engaging awards ceremony. VIP seating is available for the concert portion.

Butterfly Blitz
Kingsville, Texas is an official member of Monarch City, USA! They celebrate every October with a series of mesmerizing events, thoughtfully named the Kingsville Butterfly Blitz. Fun festivities include limited edition Winged Wonder Tours on King Ranch, a Monarch 5k fun run for the family, a festival with demonstrations on everything from pollinator gardening to photographing nature, and even several demonstrations on how to tag and release Monarch Butterflies. Visitors have the chance to get up close and personal with beautiful butterflies and stay through sunset to enjoy the pollinators of the night exhibit.

Ranch Hand Weekend
King Ranch® Hand Weekend is a highly anticipated annual November event for locals and visitors alike. Since 1990, King Ranch® Ranch Hand Breakfast has provided a special opportunity for visitors to drive onto this legendary Texas Ranch and enjoy a slice of the Cowboy way of life. The event features an authentic, hearty cowboy breakfast cooked and served outdoors on the historic King Ranch. Team roping and old-time cow camp cooking demonstrations are a part of the activities, along with live music and storytelling.

Veterans Day Parade
Historic Downtown Kingsville celebrates all brave soldiers who served our country with an annual Veterans Day Parade. Parade participants will make their way from the Kleberg County Courthouse to the Maggie Salinas Pavilion along a route lined with festive and waving American Flags.
